Narration

A glowing object arced silently across the frozen Utah night sky, February 1959.

On Route 14, a lone car sat abandoned, STOP written in shoe polish on its door.

Sheriff Otto Pfief led searchers across freezing scrubland, finding Irwin unconscious, jacket gone.

The glowing object hung motionless over Cedar City, silent and absolute.

A tightly rolled paper retrieved from a juniper bush was burned, its contents lost forever.

On August 1, 1959, Gerry Irwin failed to report for duty. He was never found.
